Kristy is one of New Zealand’s senior barristers and a King’s Counsel.

She specialises in litigation and strategic legal advice.

Kristy has extensive experience undertaking government and organisational reviews and inquiries.

She is an experienced corporate director and regularly advises on governance. She provides leadership, mentoring and collegial support.

In recognition of her skills and contributions Kristy was appointed Queen’s Counsel (now known as King’s Counsel) in 1999 and was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2019.
